Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, structural forms, technical requirements, materials, assembly and commissioning, test methods, inspection rules, marking, nameplates, and supply of metal sealed ball valves with flange connections, welded connections, and threaded connections (hereinafter referred to as "ball valves"). This standard applies to ball valves with nominal sizes of DN15 to DN600 and nominal pressures of PN16 to PN420.
