GB/T 4909.7-2009 Test methods for bare wires—Part 7:Mandrel winding test
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 4909 specifies the test equipment, specimen preparation, measurement steps, test results, and evaluation for the winding test of bare wires.
This part is applicable to the determination of the winding performance of round cross-section conductors with a nominal diameter d of 0.3 mm to 10.0 mm, such as copper, aluminum, and their alloys, as well as conductors with special cross-sections (such as contact wires) with a characteristic dimension a ≤ 20.0 mm.
This test method involves winding the specimen around a specimen rod of a specified diameter for a specified number of turns and observing the changes on its surface. The winding method can be either repeated winding or single-turn winding.
This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 4909.1—2009.
