GB/T 4909.5-2009 Test methods for bare wires—Part 5:Bend test—Reverse bend test
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 4909 specifies the test equipment, specimen preparation, measurement steps, test results, and evaluation for the repeated bending test in the bending test of bare wires.
This part is applicable to the determination of the repeated bending performance of round cross-section conductors with a nominal diameter d of 0.3 mm to 10.0 mm, such as copper, aluminum, and their alloys, as well as conductors with non-standard cross-sections (such as contact wires) with a characteristic dimension a ≤ 20.0 mm.
In this part, the specimen is fixed at one end, and the free end is bent 90° in the opposite direction along a specified cylindrical surface until the specified number of bends is reached or the specimen breaks.
This part should be used in conjunction with GB/T 4909.1—2009.
