Scope

This standard specifies a multi-pass test method for evaluating the performance of automotive engine fuel filters under constant flow conditions by continuously injecting pollutants and conducting online particle counting. The test method includes testing the filter's dirt-holding capacity, particle filtration efficiency, and pressure drop. This standard applies to filters with a rated flow rate of 50 L/h to 800 L/h. According to the agreement between the filter manufacturer and the customer, this test method can also be used for fuel filters with higher flow rates.
