GB/T 16895.7-2009 Low-voltage electrical installations—Part 7-704:Requirements for special installations or locations—Construction and demolition site installations

Scope

Add the following requirements:
704.1.1 These special requirements apply to temporary installations used as construction and demolition sites during construction or demolition operations, examples of which include:
——Construction projects of new buildings;
——Repair, modification, expansion or demolition projects of existing buildings or certain parts of existing buildings;
——Public facility projects;
——Earthwork projects;
——Projects of a similar nature as the above.
These requirements apply to fixed or movable installations.
This section does not apply to:
——Installations included in the GB 9089 series of standards 1), in which case the equipment involved is similar to that used in open-pit mining.
——Installations in administrative areas of construction sites (offices, dressing rooms, conference rooms, canteens, restaurants, dormitories, toilets, etc.), for which it is appropriate to apply the general standards of Parts 1 to 6 of GB (GB/T) 16895.
Note: Under special circumstances, more stringent requirements may be adopted, such as those in Part 706 2) concerning conductive sites with restricted movement.
