Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for glossy fancy nylon 66 elastic filament yarn.
This standard applies to elastic filament yarn made from polyamide-6,6 as the raw material, with a density range of 40.0 dtex to 240.0 dtex (for stranded yarn, it refers to the nominal linear density before stranding); the single filament yarn density ranges from 1.3 dtex to 7.0 dtex. For glossy fancy nylon 66 elastic filament yarn with triangular and trilobate cross-sections, other types can be used for reference.
