Scope
This standard specifies the photoelectric direct reading emission spectrometry method for analyzing alloy elements and impurities in aluminum and aluminum alloys. This standard is applicable to the photoelectric direct reading emission spectrometry determination of 24 elements, including silicon, iron, copper, manganese, magnesium, chromium, nickel, zinc, titanium, gallium, vanadium, zirconium, beryllium, lead, tin, antimony, bismuth, strontium, cerium, calcium, phosphorus, cadmium, arsenic, and sodium, in rod-shaped or block-shaped samples. The determination range is shown in Table 1.
