Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy-saving evaluation values, energy efficiency grades, test methods, and inspection rules for projectors. This standard applies to LCD and DLP projectors with high-pressure mercury lamps or metal halide lamps as light sources, and whose main function is projection. Solid-state light source projectors and projectors with silicon-based LCOS as display devices can refer to this standard for implementation. This standard does not apply to integrated projection units consisting of projection screens and projectors, or professional projectors used for cinema projection.
