Scope
1.0.1 These guidelines are formulated to standardize the design, manufacture, and installation of steel towers for wind turbines. 1.0.2 These guidelines apply to the design, manufacture, and installation of steel tubular towers for horizontal-axis wind turbines. 1.0.3 For the design, manufacture, and installation of steel towers for wind turbines, in addition to complying with these guidelines, they shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
