Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for mining personnel carriages. This standard sets out restrictions on mining personnel carriages from the perspectives of physical performance and intended use. The safety requirements specified in this standard apply to the hazards arising at all stages of the machine's lifespan. This standard applies to mining narrow-gauge personnel carriages, including flat-track personnel carriages and inclined-shaft personnel carriages (hereinafter referred to as personnel carriages).
