GB/T 18391.5-2009 Information technology—Metadata registries (MDR)—Part 5:Naming and identification principles
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18391 provides descriptions of the naming and identification of the following management items: data element concepts, concept domains, data elements, and value domains. This part describes the components and structure of identifiers. The purpose of precisely defining these identifiers is to uniquely identify management items within these registration systems. This part also describes naming in MDR, providing principles and rules for forming naming conventions, as well as examples of naming conventions. The naming principles described here primarily apply to the names of data element concepts, concept domains, data elements, and value domains. In this part, "management items" refer to these four items. This part should be used in conjunction with those parts that establish the rules and processes for the attributes, classification, definition, and registration of management items.
