Scope

This document, which supplements the ISO 20022 meta-model, converts ISO 20022-compliant message definitions into XML schemas using XML syntax conversion rules provided by the ISO 20022 registration authority, and is used to describe and validate XML messages.
This document specifies the conversion rules from the third level to the fourth level. It is a deterministic conversion, meaning that the XML Schema generated for a given message definition is completely predictable. There is no manual input for the conversion itself, nor is there any manual adjustment to the conversion results.
