Scope
This standard specifies the energy efficiency grade, energy efficiency limit value, energy-saving evaluation value, test methods, and inspection rules for ballasts used in metal halide lamps (hereinafter referred to as "ballasts"). This standard applies to AC power supply with a rated voltage of 220 V and a frequency of 50 Hz, and a nominal power of 20 W to 1,500 W, for standalone and built-in inductive and electronic ballasts.
