Scope

This document specifies the classification, models, and specifications of zinc alloy sacrificial anodes (hereinafter referred to as zinc anodes), as well as their requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection, and storage of zinc anodes used for cathodic protection of steel structures in media with a resistivity of less than 15 Ω·m (including seawater, sea mud, soil, etc.), including those used for cathodic protection of steel structures in ships, port facilities, marine engineering projects, buried metal pipelines, storage tanks, and seawater cooling water systems.
