Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and contract (or order form) content for electrolytic nickel powder (hereinafter referred to as nickel powder).
This standard applies to nickel powder obtained by electrolytic methods, or electrolytic reduced nickel powder obtained through hydrogen reduction annealing treatment. It is mainly used in industries such as powder metallurgy mechanical parts, diamond tools, hard alloys, magnetic materials, electrical contacts, and catalysts.
