Scope
This document stipulates the general requirements for the safe production of dip coating, including safety technical requirements for dip coating equipment, electrical and automatic control systems, ventilation systems and exhaust gas treatment, paint storage and transportation, operation and maintenance, and describes the verification methods.
This document applies to dip coating processes using flammable or combustible liquid paints, as well as the design, manufacture, installation, acceptance, and use of related equipment.
This document does not apply to electrophoretic coating using liquid paints.
