GB/T 17215.323-2008 Electricity metering equipment(a.c.)—Particular requirements—Part 23:Static meters for reactive energy(classes 2 and 3)
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 17215 is only applicable to newly manufactured stationary reactive energy meters with accuracy classes 2 and 3, used for measuring AC reactive energy in 50 Hz or 60 Hz networks, and their type tests. Due to practical considerations, this standard is based on the traditional definition of reactive energy, which only includes sinusoidal current and voltage with a fundamental frequency. This part is applicable to indoor and outdoor electronic reactive energy meters composed of measurement elements and meters housed in the same casing. It is also applicable to displays and test outputs. If the meter has a measurement element for measuring more than one type of electrical energy (multi-energy meters), or when other functional elements, such as maximum demand indicators, electronic tariff registers, time switches, ripple control receivers, data communication interfaces, etc., are also enclosed in the casing, the corresponding standards shall apply to these functional units.
