Scope

This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, product identification, packaging, transportation, and storage of high-purity arsenic.
This standard applies to high-purity arsenic with a purity of not less than 99.999%, 99.9999%, and 99.99999%, which is made from industrial arsenic through processing such as sublimation, chlorination, and hydrogen reduction. The product is mainly used in the manufacture of group III-V compound semiconductors such as gallium arsenide, epitaxial sources, and semiconductor dopants.
