Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, and abbreviations, requirements, guidelines, design, construction, and acceptance, operation, documentation, and management of regional cathodic protection systems in stations. This standard applies to regional cathodic protection of buried steel pipelines, equipment, and the outer walls of storage tank bottoms in new or existing stations. The regional cathodic protection of other buried metal structures can be implemented with reference to this standard.
