Scope

This part of GB/T 21956 specifies the static test methods and acceptance conditions for the strength of rear-mounted protective devices on narrow-track wheeled tractors used in agriculture and forestry. This part applies to pneumatic tire tractors with two axles, with a ground clearance of no more than 600 mm at the lowest points of the front and rear axles; for tractors equipped with maximum-sized tires on the front or rear wheels, regardless of whether the wheelbase is fixed or adjustable, the minimum wheelbase of the tractor shall not exceed 1,150 mm; the unladen mass of the tractor (including the protective device and the maximum tire provided by the manufacturer) shall be greater than 400 kg, and if it is a two-way driving tractor, it shall simultaneously be less than 3,500 kg, with a maximum operating mass not exceeding 5,250 kg. For all tractors, the mass ratio shall not exceed 1.75.
