Scope

This standard specifies the sampling methods, high-performance liquid chromatography detection methods, and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry confirmation methods for the detection of tetracycline veterinary drug residues in animal-derived foods. This standard applies to the determination of the residues of seven tetracycline veterinary drugs, including dimethylamine tetracycline, oxytetracycline, tetracycline, demeclocycline, chloramphenicol, methylchlorophenicol, and doxycycline, in animal-derived foods such as muscle, internal organs, aquatic products, and milk by high-performance liquid chromatography. It also applies to the determination of the residues of ten tetracycline drugs, including dimethylamine tetracycline, epitetracycline, oxytetracycline, epitetracycline, tetracycline, demeclocycline, epichlorophenicol, chloramphenicol, methylchlorophenicol, and doxycycline, by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry.
