Scope
This standard specifies the model designation method, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and transportation, and storage for electrical steel cores used in power transformers. This standard applies to electrical steel laminations used in power transformers with voltage ratings of 35 kV and below (hereinafter referred to as "cores"). Other voltage ratings may also refer to this standard.
