Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, including the type and size, structure, electrical performance, and mechanical performance, for ICT equipment installed in data centers and telecommunications centers.
This document applies to plugs and fixed sockets for Class I equipment with two live contacts and one grounding contact, rated at 5.2 kW and with a rated voltage range of 294 V to 400 V DC. They are only used for powering DC ICT equipment.
Systems compliant with IEC TS 627351:2015 are compatible with systems compliant with this part in terms of safety, so a 2.6 kW plug can be inserted into a 5.2 kW socket, but a 5.2 kW plug cannot be inserted into a 2.6 kW socket.
Add the following after paragraph 3:
The maximum current for plugs and sockets is:
——When the voltage between the live contacts is 400 V DC, it is 13 A;
——When the voltage between the live contacts is 294 V DC, it is 17.6 A.
When the voltage between the live contacts drops to 260 V DC, it can rise to 20 A DC for up to 10 minutes.
Replace the content of the second dash in paragraph 5 with:
——Overcurrent protection (no more than 17.6 A or less per socket or multiple sockets).
