Scope

This part is applicable to motor starting capacitors connected to asynchronous motor windings powered by single-phase systems with a frequency of 100 Hz or lower. This part is applicable to metallized motor starting capacitors, either impregnated or non-impregnated, using paper or plastic film as the dielectric medium, and motor starting electrolytic capacitors with non-solid electrolytes, with a rated voltage of 660 V or lower.
