Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency limit values, energy-saving evaluation values, energy efficiency grades, and test methods for AC contactors (hereinafter referred to as contactors). This standard applies to direct-acting, three-pole electric, and integral AC contactors with a rated frequency of 50 Hz, a rated working voltage of 380 V (400 V), and a rated working current of 6 A to 630 A. This standard does not apply to contactors equipped with additional energy-saving devices, contactors for household and similar purposes, and semiconductor contactors (solid-state contactors).
