Scope
This document specifies the main purposes of the electric energy measurement system (EMS), namely measuring the electric energy consumption of trains onboard for electric energy management, energy conservation, billing, etc.
This document sets requirements for a complete EMS and for all devices that implement one or more functions of the EMS.
This document applies to newly manufactured EMSs that are used on traction units powered by AC or DC power sources as specified in GB/T 1402-2010.
This document does not apply to portable EMSs.
