Scope
This standard specifies the techniques for artificial afforestation on saline-alkaline lands along the coast north of the Yangtze River, including afforestation zoning, saline-alkaline land improvement, afforestation methods, nurturing and protection of unestablished forests, evaluation of afforestation effects, and operation design. This standard is applicable to artificial afforestation and renewal of saline-alkaline lands along the coast north of the Yangtze River, including Jiangsu, Shandong, Hebei, Tianjin, Liaoning, and other provinces and cities, as well as the planting of trees on the four sides of the forest.
