Scope

This standard specifies the method of measuring the retention rate of the breaking strength of impregnated cords and the adhesion peel strength and other fatigue resistance properties of strip samples made from vulcanized rubber after flexural fatigue. This standard is applicable to the determination of the fatigue resistance of impregnated cords made from synthetic fibers, and can also be used for the determination of the fatigue resistance of impregnated skeleton materials such as impregnated cords and impregnated canvas made from synthetic fibers.
