Scope
This standard specifies the metallographic sampling method for cast high-manganese steel and the evaluation criteria for microstructure, carbides, grain size, and non-metallic inclusions.
This standard applies to austenitic manganese steel castings subjected to hydraulic tempering treatment, except for ZG120Mn7Mo1, as specified in GB/T 5680.
