Scope

This document specifies the models, technical requirements, test methods, reinspection, and supply technical conditions for welding rods and welding wires used for cast iron. This document is applicable to welding rods for arc welding of cast iron, flux-cored welding wires for self-shielded and gas-shielded arc welding, solid welding wires and filler wires for gas-shielded arc welding, and casting filler wires for gas welding (hereinafter referred to as "welding rods and welding wires").
