Scope
This document specifies the requirements, inspection rules, marking, and storage for rubber seals used in expansion joints of highway concrete sections, and describes the test methods for rubber seals used in expansion joints of highway concrete sections. This document applies to rubber seals used in expansion joints of highway concrete sections (hereinafter referred to as seals). Note: This document does not include the design of seals, but provides general requirements for finished seals.
