Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for colored polyester drawn filament yarn.
The colored polyester drawn filament yarn referred to in this standard is the colored polyester drawn filament yarn produced by the dyeing with masterbatch technology.
This standard is applicable to triangular cross-section, three-leaf cross-section, circular cross-section, high-gloss, semi-matte civilian colored polyester drawn filament yarn with a total linear density of 44 dtex to 330 dtex and a single filament linear density of 1.0 dtex to 5.6 dtex. Other colored polyester drawn filament yarns can be used for reference.
