Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for high-oriented nylon 6 filament (abbreviated as HOY) with a glossy surface and a special cross-sectional shape.
This standard is applicable to the quality appraisal, acceptance, and arbitration of civilian-grade high-oriented nylon 6 filament (HOY) with a linear density ranging from 8.0 dtex to 400.0 dtex, a single filament linear density of 1.0 dtex to 6.0 dtex, a triangular and trilobate cross-sectional shape, a glossy surface, and no twisting or washing treatment. Other types of high-oriented nylon 6 filament with a glossy surface and a special cross-sectional shape can be used as reference for application.
