GB/T 26465-2011 Safety rules for the construction and installation of firefighters lifts
Basic Information
Scope
1.1 This standard applies to fire elevators with a pre-chamber as defined in Article 3.2.
1.2 This standard does not apply to:
a) double-deck elevators;
b) elevators already installed in existing buildings;
c) major modifications to elevators already installed before the implementation of this standard;
d) elevators with two entrances, where the pre-chamber of the fire elevator and the pre-chamber of the firefighter's entrance floor are not on the same side.
However, this standard can also serve as a basis.
1.3 This standard addresses major hazards, dangerous conditions, and events related to the use of fire elevators as intended by the manufacturer and under the conditions expected by the manufacturer (see Chapter 4).
1.4 This standard applies to new fire elevators installed in new buildings after the implementation of this standard.
1.5 Fire elevators that can be used for firefighting and evacuation purposes under firefighter control should not only comply with this standard, but also meet the relevant requirements of GB 7588—2003 and GB 21240—2007.
1.6 This standard does not consider the use of elevators with partially enclosed shafts as fire elevators.
1.7 If the fire eventually invades the pre-chamber, this standard no longer applies.
