Scope
This standard specifies the basic structure, parameter designations and markings, requirements, inspection rules, markings, packaging, transportation, and storage of reciprocating oil seals for engine valve guides (hereinafter referred to as "valve oil seals"). This standard applies to reciprocating oil seals for valve guides of fuel and gas engines.
