Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements for testing facilities and equipment in the acoustic insulation laboratory of building components, such as:

—— Equipment parts (small building components);
—— Acoustic insulation improvement systems.
This document specifies the certification procedures for acoustic insulation testing facilities and equipment. These procedures are regularly repeated to ensure that the equipment and testing facilities are in normal condition.
This document is applicable to laboratory testing facilities and equipment for suppressing sound radiation from lateral components and ensuring structural isolation between the reception room and the sound source room.
