Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life of the food additive sodium iron ethylenediaminetetraacetate (NaFeEDTA).
This standard applies to the food additive sodium iron ethylenediaminetetraacetate, which is produced by reacting a trivalent iron inorganic salt with a sodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate salt. This product is used as an iron nutritional fortifier.
