GB/T 18015.3-2025 Multicore and symmetrical pair/quad cables for digital communications—Part 3:Work area cable—Sectional specification

Scope

This document specifies the installation conditions, materials, and cable structures, as well as the performance and requirements of digital communication cables with transmission characteristics of 100 MHz and below, used for work area cabling. Such cables include twisted-pair shielding, overall shielding, and unshielded cable designs for twisted-pair or star-twisted-pair groups.
This document applies to the work area cabling systems defined in ISO/IEC 11801 (all parts), and also to various communication systems specified in corresponding detailed specifications.
The cables specified in this document are suitable for operation under the voltage and current specified by the communication system, but are not suitable for low-impedance power supplies such as those used in public power supply systems.
