Scope
1.1 This standard provides guidance for the determination and control of spectral chemical analysis working curves. Although the determination of analysis working curves and daily control operations are interrelated, they should be considered separately. This rule applies to optical spectrometers with linear or logarithmic readout methods, optical spectrometers, and X-ray emission spectrometers. 1.2 However, this standard does not mean that it can be applied anywhere at will. Establishing appropriate, safe, and perfect application rules, and prioritizing the determination of the scope of use limited by this rule, are prerequisites for users of this standard to apply it.
