Scope
This section specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings for aluminum-titanium-carbon alloy wire produced by methods such as continuous casting and rolling, casting extrusion, etc. It also covers packaging, transportation, storage, and the contents of quality certificates and purchase orders (or contracts).
This section applies to aluminum and aluminum alloy ingots, cast-rolled strips, and other products made from aluminum-titanium-carbon alloy wire (hereinafter referred to as "wire").
