Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions of borate non-linear optical single crystal components, including beta-barium borate (β-BaB2O4, referred to as BBO) and lithium triborate (LiB3O5, referred to as LBO), and stipulates the technical requirements, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage. It also describes the corresponding test methods. This document is applicable to the development, production, inspection, and sales of borate non-linear optical single crystal components, BBO and LBO. Other non-linear optical single crystal components may refer to and implement the provisions of this document accordingly.
