Scope
This part specifies the requirements for the on-board rechargeable energy storage system (REESS) of electric vehicles with a Class B voltage drive circuit system, thereby ensuring the safety of people inside and outside the vehicle, as well as the vehicle environment.
This part applies to electric vehicles with a maximum operating voltage of Class B voltage in the drive system. Electric motorcycles and electric mopeds can refer to it for implementation.
This part does not apply to off-road vehicles, such as material handling vehicles and forklifts.
This part does not apply to the assembly, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicles. Electromechanical flywheels (vehicles) are not within the scope of this part.
