Scope
This part of GB/T 23507 specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation requirements for diesel generator sets used in onshore electric drilling rigs in the oil and gas industry (hereinafter referred to as the generator sets).
This part is applicable to diesel generator sets used in onshore electric drilling rigs with a rated capacity of 1,000 kVA to 2,400 kVA, a rated voltage of 600 V, (400 V), (690 V), and a rated frequency of 50 Hz and 60 Hz.
Generator sets used in other specifications of electric drilling rigs can also be used as a reference.
