Scope

This part of GB/T 23507 specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation requirements for diesel generator sets used in electric drilling rigs in the oil and gas industry (hereinafter referred to as the generator sets). This part applies to diesel generator sets used in electric drilling rigs with a rated capacity of 800 kVA to 3,000 kVA, a rated voltage of 690 V, 600 V, or 400 V, and a rated frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz. Generator sets used in electric drilling rigs with other specifications can also be used as a reference.
