Scope
This document specifies the terms, general provisions, inspections, repairs, maintenance rules, and safety requirements for the maintenance and repair of mechanical parking equipment (hereinafter referred to as "maintenance and repair"). This document applies to all types of mechanical parking equipment. This document does not apply to the following situations: a) car lifts (for repair purposes). b) requirements for buildings, even if the parking equipment is directly supported by the building, it is not within the scope of this document. c) peripheral equipment of parking equipment.
