Scope
This standard specifies the types, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation requirements of winch-type gate operators (hereinafter referred to as gate operators).
This standard applies to the manufacture and acceptance of fixed or mobile gate operators used to open and close the gates, valves, and debris screens of hydropower and water conservancy projects, primarily driven by electricity and employing a wire rope winch system.
