GB/T 19073-2018 Wind turbine—Design requirements for gearbox
Basic Information
Scope
This standard applies to closed speed-increasing gearboxes of horizontal-axis wind turbine generators with a rated power of more than 500 kW. This standard applies to gearboxes installed on land or at sea.
This standard provides guidance for load analysis of gears and gearbox components designed in wind turbine generators.
The gears applicable to this standard include: parallel shafts and planetary gears in the main drive chain, such as spur gears, helical gears, or herringbone gears. This standard does not apply to power take-off (PTO) devices.
This standard is based on the design of gearboxes using rolling bearings. The use of sliding bearings is allowed with reference to this standard, but this standard does not include an assessment of the use of sliding bearings.
This standard also provides engineering guidance for the shaft, shaft-hub interface, bearings, and gearbox housing structure in fully integrated designs to meet their harsh operating conditions.
In addition to type testing and product testing, this standard also includes lubrication of the drive system. Finally, this standard also provides guidance for the operation and maintenance of gearboxes.
