Scope

1.1 This part of GB/T 35850 applies to passenger elevators and freight elevators. When a programmable electronic system is used to perform elevator electrical safety functions, this part should be adopted. When the elevator safety functions defined in elevator specifications and standards apply to PESSRAL, this part should be referenced.
1.2 This part can also be applied to new PESSRAL or those that differ from those described in this part.
1.3 If the electrical safety device meets all the requirements of this part and other relevant standards, there is no need to consider the possibility of its failure.
