Scope

This document specifies the design, performance, testing and inspection, appearance, marking and sealing, protection, and storage of spring-loaded direct-load safety valves (hereinafter referred to as safety valves). This document applies to steam safety valves with a set pressure of 0.1 MPa to 42.0 MPa and a flow channel diameter of greater than or equal to 15 mm, and gas and liquid safety valves with a diameter of greater than or equal to 7 mm. This document applies to safety valves whose medium temperature during discharge is not lower than -29 ℃.
