Scope

This part of YY/T 0084 specifies the strength calculation of the main pressure-bearing components of single-layer and double-layer circular pressure steam sterilizers (hereinafter referred to as sterilizers) and related provisions. For those not specified in this part, the corresponding standards shall apply. This part is applicable to circular pressure steam sterilizers with a design pressure not exceeding 0.4 MPa. This part is also applicable to circular pressure steam sterilizers capable of withstanding negative pressure.
